Track and Field

We wrapped up the school track and field events today.  It took a little longer than we expected but that just meant the students had more time to rest for the various events.  Here's a few photos.  I didn't get to take as many as I would have liked as I was running the shot put.

On our field trip we got to learn about maps and compasses.  We got to play a game while using them.  We also got learn about the web of life.  We played a game where we had to get a sheet stamped.  Each stamp was for food, water, and other bonuses.

Dear parents,

The students in the class will be starting to post on the class blog.  Each day a different student will be carrying an iPad around for the day.  Their job is to take some photos of the different things we do throughout the day and then add a post to the class blog.  Below you will see the first student post. Racers on Display

Our mouse trap racers are on display in the front foyer of the school.  The students also created some posters to advertise their racers.  You can see some of the posters in the display as well.  A few of the posters still need to be completed and will be added to the display once they are ready.

Race day (sort of)

We started the races today.  It was a bit chaotic as there were a few racers in need of repairs.  So we will have the "real" races early next week.
